Andrea Antonelli is a visual artist,especially involved in filmaking and pho tography. He was born in Rome in 7th March 1997 and since he was a child he has been attracted by everything about monsters, dark folk, esoterism, horror, sense of wonder and macabre.
After high school he graduated firstly in Cinema and New Media and then in a second level course of Editorial Photography, at Academy of Fine Arts of Rome. He has completed his accademic training attending the videomaking master at Roberto Rossellini film academy.
He has several work experiences in phototographic and audiovisual industry, also internationally. He has worked as photographer, photo editor and retoucher, videomaker and video editor. He worked as assistant of important artists as Evelyn Bencicovaand he has achieved several publications and exhibitionsfor his photographic projects.
His works lies at the intersection of fash ion photography, visual arts, and cine matic horror. He draws inspiration from decadent literature, esoteric symbolism, and folklore to construct images that are both alluring and disturbing. Through photography and video, he explores the tension between the sacred and the profane, the sensual and the grotesque. He strives to blur the boundaries between fine art and editorial imagery, using aesthetic beauty as a seductive portal into darker, psychological worlds.
